Tim Donaghy, former NBA basketball referee. Tim Donaghy, who resigned on July 9, pleaded guilty on Aug, 15 to two felony charges in connection with illegal betting on N.B.A. games. Tim Donaghy, admitting that he fed inside information to gamblers, some of it regarding games he officiated.

Tim Donaghy also admitted to betting on games in which he officiated. He faces up to 25 years in prison.
