She began performing in plays in high school. After Stephanie March graduated, she landed her first professional acting role as Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Chicago. A willowy blonde, Stephanie March acted on stage in productions of "Death of a Salesman," "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Enchanted April" before landing a regular role on the
popular spin-off drama series, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999- ).
