New Jersey, Wayne, Ford, Flower & Hasbrouck
Ford, Flower & Hasbrouck. Ford, Flower & Hasbrouck has been providing quality legal representation to the South Jersey community for nearly twenty years. Our expanded Atlantic County office
is located at Central Square in the exclusive Atlantic County suburb of Linwood, New Jersey. We are just minutes from Atlantic City proper, the Atlantic City Expressway, the Garden State Parkway, and
the recently expanded Atlantic City International Airport. We also maintain a Cape May County office located at Centre Court, 728 West Avenue, Ocean City, New Jersey. We strive to concentrate on
complex commercial cases. This allows us to attend to the details of each case and makes optimum use of our unique experience and training in the areas in which we practice. Although we are able to
handle most types of matters for our clients, the great majority of our practice consists of commercial and real estate litigation, employment litigation, commercial transactions, wills and estates,
and land use planning. We have also developed a comprehensive network of contacts to which we can refer clients with cases that involve areas in which we do not customarily practice. Our primary area
of practice is complex commercial litigation relating to real estate. We represent national title insurance companies and large residential and commercial developers throughout Southern New Jersey.
Our location near Atlantic City has given us a special opportunity to develop our skills in condemnation and construction litigation, as well as zoning/planning board matters. Atlantic City has been
a "hotbed" of condemnation due to the redevelopment efforts of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) and the Department of Transportation (DOT). Our firm, led by senior partner, Willis
Flower, obtained the largest judgment against the CRDA (i.e., the highest court ordered price paid for a property) throughout the CRDA's extensive condemnation effort in the "Corridor Project". The
"Corridor Project" was an effort by the CRDA to create a gateway to Atlantic City at the foot of the Atlantic City Expressway and in near proximity to the New Atlantic City Convention Center. We have
uniformly obtained for our clients' awards or settlements in excess of prices offered to our clients by the condemning agency. Our firm also had the pleasure of negotiating with the DOT the second
largest settlement on behalf of a property owner during the Atlantic City "Tunnel Project". The DOT was condemning property to create a roadway/tunnel to serve as a gateway to the anticipated casino
hotel development in the Marina District of Atlantic City. We provide our clients with a unique full service blend of legal services in the land use area of the law. We have the expertise, reputation
and demeanor to guide our clients' applications through the sometimes political and emotional local board process, and the expertise as commercial litigators to successfully challenge those instances
where our clients' applications have been denied as a result of politics or emotions. The Pelican Development vs. LTMUA matter is a prime example of our ability to obtain the approvals, and
successfully challenge an agency's arbitrary conduct. We take pride in maintaining state-of-the-art office equipment and comprehensive national computer based legal research network. This facilitates
a more efficient and thorough examination of the legal issues presented by our fast moving litigation practice. It is our ability to combine modern litigation practice with old-fashioned legal
counseling that has made this firm a success. Our firm, both as local counsel and primary counsel, has been engaged to handle complex high stakes litigation in both the Federal and State courts of
New Jersey. Ford, Flower & Hasbrouck's reputation was established by providing first rate representation at a reasonable price. Our hard work and open communication with clients have sustained
the loyalty of our clients for over a decade. As new business opportunities come to the region, we continue to grow with our clients and our community. Atlantic, Cape May and Ocean Counties are
enjoying a renaissance of economic and structural development, and Ford, Flower & Hasbrouck in uniquely positioned to meet the needs of those shaping the future of South Jersey. At Ford, Flower
& Hasbrouck, we do not just sell legal services, we solve problems. We pride ourselves on our reputation for integrity, competence, attention to detail, personal service and the ability to find
practical solutions.
