CULLOWHEE — Western Carolina University will offer a one-day camp, “My Buddy and Me: Geocaching,” 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
July 9.
The camp is designed for an adult and child to enjoy together while learning the art and science of geocaching, a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure.
Geocachers can place a geocache anywhere in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology, and then share the geocache's existence and location online for others to find.
GPS units will be provided for use during the camp.
Cost is $89 for one adult and one child younger than 12.
The cost for one adult is $59.
