I am looking for a roommate (only one male or female) on a temporary basis…weekly or monthly. This is perfect for somebody who comes to the Los Angeles area for touristic reasons, or short-term school attendance, internship or other job assignment. Right now I am taking applications with a move-in date on or before 10/01/2011.

This is a modern, friendly and well-kept 2 BR apartment on 3rd Street in Santa Monica. You will have your own bright, lightly furnished bedroom with balcony to the street, and your own large bathroom (with shower and bath tub).

The rent is $ 1,550 per month or $ 400 per week. There is a one-week minimum. Deposit is $ 800 for the monthly rental and $ 400 for the weekly rental.

Everything is included: All utilities, wireless internet access, and your secure and separate underground parking space. Unfortunately I cannot accept pets.

This apartment is situated in the most affluent part of Santa Monica, just North of Wilshire Blvd., right at Third Street Promenade and two blocks from the ocean and the Palisades Park with great views and sunsets. You can walk to the YMCA, public library, grocery stores, farmers market, fitness and dance studios, retail outlets, cafes and restaurants in the heart of Santa Monica, and to the pier, the bicycle trail along the sea, AND, BEST OF ALL, THE BEACH!

It’s also just a short ride by bus or car to Westwood and UCLA, Malibu, and the state parks with extensive hiking trails and unique views.

 
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of an attractive three-story building with swimming pool and laundry room. The living room with fireplace and the kitchen will be shared. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave and all kitchen utensils. Your bedroom is furnished. Please have a look at the attached pictures.
