Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be the Interactive Creative Director & Producer and will lead the strategic development and execution of compelling and engaging interactive content across the AMA’s Web site and other channels. In this role you will proactively and strategically manage the Interactive Marketing calendar including Web copy, templates, graphics, and rich media on the AMA’s corporate Web site and other digital channels, including management of the in-house advertising calendar for the corporate website. Acting as the interactive brand steward you will work with internal stakeholders as well as the Interactive Marketing staff and information systems colleagues to ensure timely execution of all interactive projects.Requirements: Bachelors degree in graphic design, fine arts, communications, or journalism required. Masters degree desirable.Ideal candidate will have more than six years of creative interactive experience, with progressive responsibility developing and implementing larger, more complicated interactive projects /campaigns.Experience planning, designing, and executing large email marketing campaigns.Strong editorial sensibility in terms of effective Web copy and understanding of ‘best practice’ principles of visual interactive design.Proficiency with leading design software, Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Acrobat 9 Pro) and Microsoft Office.Understanding of HTML and CSS and able to translate design concepts to code. Familiar with video compression techniques and proficient in optimizing rich media for the Web.Diplomatic and professional presence and demeanor; excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills..
