American comedian Robert Bob Schimmel has diedSaturday, September 04, 2010 | Comments: 4Robert "Bob" Schimmel the American stand-up comedian whose material was often X-rated and controversial has died of the injuries he sustained during a car accident in August.Schimmel was the passenger in a car - being driven by his 19-year-old daughter Aliyah Schimmel - which was traveling on Interstate Highway 10 in Phoenix, Arizona at the end of August when it was involved in a serious accident which left him in hospital.

At the time of the crash Schimmel was in the passenger seat when his daughter swerved to avoid an accident in her lane and she lost control of the car..
