Biomedical Technician

Location: Valhalla, NY

Responsibilities: Performs major inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on medical equipment. Troubleshoots to component level. Performs skilled work of moderate difficulty with minimal supervision. Travel to customer sites to perform services. Ability to help promote revenue growth in territory. Requirements: Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology preferred. Prior biomedical experience with a hospital, the military or any other comparable organization is a plus. Must be familiar with use of voltmeters, frequency counters, and oscilloscopes. Must be able to use hand tools in an appropriate and safe manner. Must be able to solder well. Must have working knowledge and experience working on a variety of equipment. Must be highly skilled in the use of test equipment.
