LOS ANGELES -- Bill Nye, host of the Emmy-winning 1990s television show Bill Nye the Science Guy, collapsed during a California speech, then got up and continued his presentation.

The Los Angeles Times says the 54-year-old Nye apparently fainted on stage Tuesday evening in front of hundreds of people gathered at the University of Southern California..
