Last night on Big Brother Carole and Gerry found out that they were the two housemates with the most public votes but unknown to the housemates, Carole had polled 49% of the public vote, whilst Gerry had received 24%.

Big Brother announced that the Gurus were then told to choose to evict one of the two.

On hearing that he and Carole had the most public votes, Gerry accepted the news calmly.
