Bernie Madoff

So, when Bernie Madoff takes money from later investors and gives it to earlier, it's illegal and called a Ponzi scheme.

But when the government does it, its called Social Security.

I fail to see the distinction, and if Madoff is being punished, so should those in charge of the SS system!
