Rusty Boone with Batteries Plus in Easley presents Easley Fire Chief Butch Womack with a donation of 9-volt batteries during the Easley Fire Department's Open House Thursday.

Firefighters will replace old and worn out batteries in smoke alarms at no cost to residents over the next two weeks, thanks to the generous donation.slideshow
