Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Develops leadership initiatives and expands our Doctoral Ed.D. Programs to meet the needs ofthe greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Courses to be
taught may include, but are not limited to Finance,Instructional Leadership, Administrative Experience (Principalship) Micro-Politics, Organizational Behavior,School Business Management, Leadership
Problems, and Leading the Learning Environment. Candidate mustbring a combination of successful practitioner leadership experience (building and/or district level) rich knowledgebase in
leadership­related fields, and professional scholarship to enhance our graduate Master's and Doctoralprograms.Requirements: Doctorate in Educational Administration, Educational Leadership, or
related field. Demonstratedexperience as a PreK-12 Building and/or District Administrator; excellence in teaching; knowledge of urbaneducation; currency and fluency in literature and research on
school improvement and national school reformefforts; commitment to interactive, distance learning and field-based work; a record of professional activities andongoing scholarship commensurate with
rank, an ability to establish and maintain effective internal and externaland external relationships in urban and/or rural, suburban settings; a clear understanding of the racial, ethnic,linguistic,
and cultural diversity issues that challenge school leaders and a commitment to social justice, equity, andthe ideal of democracy.
