Responsibilities and Requirements: The Application DBA will  responsible for the following: Monitoring, trouble shooting, maintaining and performing backup/recoery procedures on SQL databases. Analyze, design, test, implement, maintain and administer databases/applications on Oracle DB and similar database engines.Preentie maintenance and performance tuning of multiple enterprise databases. Application deelopment and software engineering support for new and emerging requirements that hae SQL database components.Partner with multiple teams such as deelopers, testers, analysts, and project managers.Monitoring performance and managing parameters to proide fast query responses to 'front end' users.Continuous monitoring and refinement of the physical design for database sizing, growth needs, and storage requirements.Installing and testing new ersions of the database management system (DBMS)Defining access permissions and priileges.
