Apple Game Center: Even Better Iphone Gaming Apps!

The next big thing in the WWDC 2010 evening was the announcement of “Apple Game Centre”, for gaming experience on iPhone. It’ll be launched later this summer for iPad, while iPhone and iPod touch operating system will be updated soon. The Apple Game Center is likely to inherit Microsoft’s Xbox Live and Sony’s PlayStation Network on the leader boards, matchmaking, achievements, friend lists and invitations for the gaming freaks.

Steve Jobs mentioned “Game Centre” as a major update in the Apple’s yearly calendar, calling it a “tentpost”, apart from multitasking and folders swapping features in iPhone OS 4.0. Till date, it is one of the biggest steps taken by Apple for developing an enhanced gaming experience in the smartphone area. Apple’s Game Center is expected to introduce new levels to the industry, and will turn out to be better in monetary terms for the game developers.
