Apostasy

Clarence Clark Jun 21, 2010, 8:55pm EDT The idea of apostasy and the definition of the same seems to confuse many individuals; especially where there are so many differing opinions on spirituality, religion, faiths, and beliefs.

Your definition (or rather, Wikipedia's) should make it a little easier to understand; although it is a very arguable subject-- not unlike the term "pagan."
