Alvin And The Chipmunks

The release date is a week earlier than its Christmas 2009 bow, which should give it a head start on the holiday season.  However, it puts the sleuth sequel in direct competition with the Brad Bird-directed Mission: Impossible IV and Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D.  Then again, Holmes competed with Avatar and beat Alvin last year, so hes seen his share of formidable foes...
