Our Rep will pick you up from your hotel in Alexandria by air-conditioned bus to drive to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, head to the Plateau of Giza for the chance to see the stunning Great Pyramids of giza and mystical sphinx. The last remaining wonders of the ancient world, the pyramids are said to be constructed from millions of blocks of limestone and have stood on this site for nearly 5000 years. Your experience will be enhanced by your expert guide who will provide a fascinating insight to the history of this magical site.
Whilst admiring these ancient treasures, look out for the bewitching figure of the Sphinx. Carved from a single block of limestone, the half-human, half-lion statue stands guard over the tombs. After lunch, continue to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to the world’s finest collection of Egyptian artefacts.
