Accounting Operations Analyst

Location: Schenectady, NY

Responsibilities: The Accounting Operations Analyst demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.Essential ResponsibilitiesCost Analysis and Reporting for Projects and Functional Components within PPSD Structure Internal Labor Analysis Own assigned monthly and quarterly closing routines Controllership activities relating to internal processes and procedures Government Reporting to meet GE Energy requirements Other Accounting Operations initiatives as assignedQualifications/Requirements4-year college degree in Business / Finance / Accounting or at least four years of professional work experience Minimum 5 years of business experience Requirements: Proficient with computers (including Microsoft Office and Oracle)Additional Eligibility QualificationsGE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work.
