Account Manager
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Responsibilities: Manages assigned Avnet accounts to maximize Avnet revenues by identifying product and service needs cultivating and growing the Avnet relationship in all aspects of assigned
accounts developing sales strategies and coordinating efforts with other Avnet EM departments.Primary `Duties and Manages account relationships within assigned geographic territory to maximize sales
and profits.Focus is on secondary accounts.Meets with customers to identify product and service needs.Develops and maintains Customer Business Plans and profiles.Utilizes wide-breadth knowledge of
the product line card to meet customer needs.Consults with Field Application Engineers to identify opportunities for design wins.Single geographic account base.Typical revenue of $4MM and/or yield of
11% or better.Tactical focus.Knowledge and Skill:Utilizes wide-breadth knowledge of the product line card to meet customer need.General knowledge of commodities and Avnet resources
available.Understands and applies IMS solutions.Work experience requirements:Five years of progressive more responsible experience in distribution value added services or marketing.Education &
Certification Requirements: A Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience is required.
