Boise's Aaron Paul received his first Emmy Award on Sunday as Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series for his performance as Jess Pinkman on "Breaking Bad," according to eOnline.com.Paul, 31, beat nominees Martin Short of Damages, John Slattery of Mad Men, Andre Braugher of Men of a Certain Age and Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson of LOST.It is Paul's second Emmy nomination.Paul grew up in Emmett and attended Centennial High School, where he studied drama.

He started acting professionally at 17 and has appeared in TV shows such as "Melrose Place," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigations" and "Big Love."Costume supervisor Le Dawson of Meridian was nominated (his ninth) for his work with designer Janie Bryant on the series "Mad Men." However, Best Costumes for a Series went to the series "The Tudors."
