My 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer makes for a diversified, full service civil and criminal practice, which provides personal, professional, compassionate and confidential representation, tailored to the needs of individual clients. People rarely seek my professional services because all is right with their lives. Often, they face serious issues, which may, or already, have serious implications and impact upon their futures, whether because of a pending divorce, criminal charges, an actual or contemplated lawsuit, which involves economic injury or loss, or some personal injury caused to be suffered, due to Line negligence or intentional act of another. While some cases may appear more serious than others, each is important to the particular individual and each is considered important by me, when I undertake to represent a client. While access to the courts is a right, which is cherished by Americans, to right a wrong, or otherwise seek justice, it is often a difficult and expensive experience. I strive to help my clients through a difficult time in their lives, while helping them to understand the process, which has taken years to refine, and which may seem especially complicated, under the stressful circumstances, which bring them into the civil or criminal justice system, which, though imperfect, remains the best in the world. Where divorce and family law are concerned, I have represented individuals on all matters related to dissolution, legal separation, child custody, child support, visitation/parenting time, as well as post-Decree modifications of Permanent Orders. These cases almost always require patience and problem-solving and sometimes painstaking negotiations, particularly, where children are concerned. Where criminal law is concerned, I have represented persons charged with crimes ranging from homicide, sexual assault upon a child, aggravated robbery and numerous drug cases, in both state and federal courts. Where personal injury cases are concerned, my last six-figure settlements, involving automobile accidents, were $300,000 and $100,000, respectively. When I am not practicing law, I am practicing the martial arts, which I have done for many years. I received my black-belt in Tae Kwon Do and have a brown-belt in Chinese Kenpo. My current training is Muy Thai kickboxing. I try to incorporate some of the wisdom and discipline of the martial arts into my law practice, which include the virtues of diligence, trustworthiness, loyalty and responsibility, in order to represent my client's best interests, with the hope of a negotiated settlement and resolution of conflict. Yet, when litigation is inevitable, I strive to work harder, to devise better strategy and employ superior tactics than my adversary, in order achieve the just and proper outcome for my client. I thoroughly enjoy jury trials. I strive to make my legal services affordable and believe the client should be afforded some peace of mind, due to the efforts of his or her attorney and the knowledge that a skilled, professional is sharing the very real concerns with the client, during this difficult period in his or her life. When I fulfill these obligations, I am proud to be an attorney. If you arts facing serious legal issues, involving divorce, criminal law, personal injury, civil claims or probate, call me for a free consultation.
