Responsibilities: Becker Underwood, always thinking ahead!Colorbioticsis a strategic business unit of Becker Underwood that focuses exclusively on the research, development, sales and support of landscape coating products. Our products are marketed across the world. Since our founding in 1982, we have experienced tremendous growth through product development and acquisitions. We currently seek a:Territory Manager – Southern U.S.This position will cover the states ofColorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana and will be responsible for prospecting longterm, profitable relationships and manage sales objectives at the territory level.Principal Accountabilities:SalesUnderstand and implement the Colorbiotics Selling System.Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs are met by specific products and services.Educate customers and prospects about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.Maintain customer records, using automated systems.Identify prospective customers.Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and submit orders for processing.Responsible for collecting AR and Managing Territory P&L Budget.Understand and implement marketing plan initiatives…driving key Landscape Coating product, services and technologies toward key target markets.Maintain and grow the customer base.Develop new and profitable accounts.Assist marketing with new product development to ensure emerging customer needs are met.Assist other sales regions/territories when needed or asked by supervisor.Sales will account for 50% of the overall job responsibilities.Customer ServiceHandle and resolve customer needs in a timely manner to ensure highest possible customer satisfaction.Supervise customer management database files to ensure effective and efficient handling of all information.Customer Service will account for 40% of the overall job responsibilities.Trade ShowsRepresent Colorbiotics at trade shows and association meetings to promote products.These duties will account for 5% of the overall job responsibilities.OtherParticipate in “special projects” when needed.Other duties as assigned.These duties will account for 5% of the overall job responsibilitiesBachelors degree in Agriculture Business, Agriculture Studies, Marketing or related field required. The candidate will reside in the territory and have at least two years of businesstobusiness outside sales experience in the agricultural or environmental industry. The candidate must be selfmotivated, possess strong consultative selling and negotiation skills and be a team player. This post must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and is required to travel up to 80% of the time (valid US Drivers License required).Becker Underwood offers a competitive pay and benefits and an opportunity to be a part of a growing company.
