Responsibilities:Job Description The Senior Vice President, Sales will have primary responsibility for new business development for Cognitive Data Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of CognitiveDATA’s award-winning, data quality innovations help recognized retailers, insurance providers, nonprofits and financial services organizations ensure the accuracy of mail files and eliminate waste in their direct mail programs. The SVP will own the development, implementation, and management of the overall sales efforts to achieve aggressive sales goals. Position Responsibilities: Develops and executes strategies for lead generation, sales, pricing, and all other matters related to revenue generation. Develops, and actively maintains, sales forecasts. Personally pursues and closes key sales opportunities and manages the sales process. Leads and directs all sales personnel; establishes sales territories and quotas and evaluates results. Leads internal teams from multiple disciplines to pursue key prospects. Integrates sales personnel and strategies with other aspects of the company. Provides market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and generates product development ideas. Ensures sales offerings are closely coordinated and in alignment with internal product offerings. Skills/Requirements Bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of experience in the field. Experience in the data processing or database marketing field. Experience selling a technology based product Proven success meeting aggressive sales quotas. Experience working with senior management to align departmental objectives with corporate strategic initiatives. General management skills that include mentoring, coaching, directing and delegating across departments to maximize productivity. Ability to function in a high pressure/high ambiguity environment Strong interpersonal communication skills.
