Responsibilities: Developing & executing a sales plan in the local territory to meet/exceed sales goalso Selling industrial & construction supplies business to businesso Conducting cold calls with manufacturing, maintenance, construction, job sites & other industrial accountso Maintaining & growing the existing customer baseo Managing account collections for assigned accountso Maintaining & growing customer inventory programsThis is an entry level sales position. The focus of this position is 80% outside sales and 20% branch support, including inside sales, purchasing, receiving, packing orders, deliveries, sourcing, and inventory management.Successful candidates must:o Possess a valid driver's license & meet company MVR requirementso Possess the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a consistent basiso Practice integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the businesso Have excellent written & oral communication skillso Be customer service orientedo Possess the ability to learn & perform multiple tasks in a fast paced team environmento Demonstrate strong attention to detailo Demonstrate strong computer skills and aptitudePreference is given to those who possess either an Associates Degree in Business/Marketing OR equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local market.
