Responsibilities: Under the direction of the supervisor, the Customer Service Rep is responsible for answering telephones, resolving customer inquiries for walk-in patients, as well as written
correspondence inquiries. Executes policies and procedures as outlined by management to ensure the timely resolution of patient service and third-party reimbursement issues to foster an environment
of total customer responsiveness. Executes customer service programs in accordance with changes in insurance regulations and data obtained from various groups. Provides information to management to
assist the department in tracking various reasons for customer inquiries. Requirements: Experience in handling customer inquires in a health care setting and working directly with the patient;
knowledge of account reconciliation, which includes customer service; i nsurance and /or medical claims processing preferred; d emonstrated proficiency of CRT/PC; e xcellent verbal and written
communication skills; a bility to write and read Spanish Helpful; c ollection payments from patients. M inimum 5 years of experience in a customer service environment. An Associates Degree in
Communications or related field may substitute for up to six months experience of the stated experience or Bachelors Degree in Communications or related field may substitute for experience.
