About the Opportunity As a successful Account Executive at OM Workspace you will have a fulfilling career, surrounded by talented people and supported by a large and very capable furniture organization. ­We're the only national furniture dealership representing top lines from major manufacturers. Our working relationship with these vendors enables us to provide knowledgeable recommendations - creating a comprehensive solution tailored to our customer's needs. The Account Executive is responsible for the development and execution of plans to drive new contract furniture opportunities within a market; sales calls and activities that will result in the profitable growth of furniture business within existing accounts; and the achievement of an annual sales goal. An Account Executive must fulfill the highest standards of integrity and accountability and is expected to make high-quality decisions in a fast-paced environment. Position Responsibilities Prospect, identify, and develop furniture business with new customers. Develop new leads and uncover new business potential by cold-calling, networking with industry and community contacts and asking for referrals from existing customers. Identify new sales opportunities within the existing account base and create customized solutions to meet customer needs. Build long-standing relationships with customers through frequent contact, meetings and presentations. Educate customers about new products and services and support OM Workspace vendors and manufacturers by arranging joint calls and product presentations. Update and keep current the Workspace account database and forecasting program on a weekly basis or as management requests. Adhere to OM Workspace business practices and standards including the company-wide goal of constant profit margin improvement. Work with a group of designers, coordinators, project managers, installers and sales managers towards the goal of complete customer satisfaction.
