Job Responsibilities : Facilitate, mentor, and train individuals in the use of the Project Management (Charters, Risk Management Plans, Change Management, Planning, Scheduling, Project Portfolio Management), Procurement (MBF, Cost Down, Spend Visibility) and LEAD Process improvement techniques (Six Sigma, TPM, Kanban, Cellular Mfg, VSM, 5S, Pareto, SMED, LEAD for Office), and demonstrate impact to business units. Consult with the Segment Leaders and Business Unit Leaders on LEAD strategy and mentor LEAD Coordinators and LEAD Facilitators to develop and execute a LEAD Plan, LEAD Assessment and VSMs within the facilities. Demonstrate how the LEAD elements will drive measurable business results. This position will be located in Europe and will support segments, businesses, or sites as assigned. Assist with the development and expansion of the LEAD continuous improvement process. Assist with the development of LEAD, Project Management & Procurement training materials. Coordinate the translation of existing materials where feasible and required. Drive the use of these tools through the facilitation of kaizen events, training sessions, and direct project support, and track metrics on training effectiveness. Support for projects at various levels based upon need will be criticalSupport the on-going vitality of the LEAD website through timely use of event reporting, event identification and communication for cross-business exposure, forums and news items. Work with the Business Leaders and LEAD Coordinators within the business units to develop and execute a LEAD Plan, LEAD Assessment and Business VSM. Assist with the development and implementation of Strategy Deployment / Goal Alignment planning across all businesses. Assist in the creation of a Management Review System (MRS) as neededProvide technical guidance and facilitate problem-solving methodologies regarding quality-related issues (Six Sigma, 8-D, or PDCA) methodologies and MBF problem solving process and cost management. Work with the business units to identify the needs of the businesses regarding LEAD process and PM support. Evaluate and measure the impact LEAD is making on the business results, adjusting the support as needed to insure business result improvementsInsure best practice sharing and LEAD participation collaboration across Actuant. Identify Project Management needs on a site by site basis, assessing where their PM process is today and what is needed to ensure the use of a PM discipline. Support the tracking of key projects for the triple constraint metrics (Time, Budget, Quality). Provide various levels of PM training as required by the BUs Fundamentals, Microsoft Project, Project Portfolio Management, etc.

Job Requirements : Bachelors degree (BS) from a four-year college or university, or a four-year technical degree or equivalent in engineering, business or related field. Minimum of four years experience in a technical capacity (Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality). Six Sigma exposure / training with Black Belt or Green Belt training preferred. Demonstrated Project Management skills. Prefer PMI based PM certification. Ability to travel globally 50-75% of the time. Demonstrated strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively function in a supportive/consultative role. Must be able to show success by influencing others, not necessarily directing. Demonstrated experience facilitating the Toyota Production System method of Lean Manufacturing and/or the Actuant LEAD Process in multiple business environments. Demonstrated ability to lead teams. Experience with the LEAD continuous improvement tools, (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Strategy Deployment, Kanban, TPM, JIT, Cellular Mfg, SMED, 3P, Flow concepts, MBF cost down, Project Management etc. )Must believe in metrics that measure operational excellence. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both oral and written demonstrated by the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
