Responsibilities: Provide value-added research, process development and analysis support to the BlueCard Program (BCP). This support may be targeted to one or more of the following areas: (1) leading product/program development tasks; (2) researching, recommending and implementing procedures and processes related to operations, communications or marketing; (3) researching, editing and publishing new policies and procedural changes to policy and governance; (4) conducting or supervising the process of financial and quantitative analyses (minimal emphasis); (5) researching, recommending and implementing solutions to Plan performance problems; and (6) collecting and analyzing performance data and information and report findings. However, specific responsibilities and assignments can arise in any of the above areas of focus. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in a financial or business related discipline with a minimum of five years managed care experience. A functional understanding of the operational and marketing aspects of related products and programs. Knowledge or experience in operations including claims, customer service as well as understanding of Medicare (or coordination of other insurance). Required Requirements: Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) and written skills are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft and Internet technologies. The ability to acquire a broad understanding of the BlueCard Program and implementation, enhancement, operational, marketing and financing concepts. Demonstrated research and analytical abilities. Demonstrated presentation and communication skills both oral and written.
