Top 100s By Year By Bing 2.2.2
Posting ads for 7 years
Bing is search karma of Microsoft, but this doesn't restrict it to the formal, random searches only. For the fact that it holds good searching power, it has brought a searched out solution for music. "Top 100s by year” is an iPhone app by Bing that brings thousands of songs, from different genres, all under one roof.
This is an incredible Music app that gives you an access to the music of 63 years. You can listen to the hit tracks from 1947 to 2010. The app brings music of all types on the basis of long
lasting popularity, and acknowledgement over the years. Unlike other apps, songs are not selected on the number of copies sold. And as a matter of fact; I've not really come across songs in the app
that weren't really popular' so I guess the algorithm works fine.
Application lists top 100 songs from each year, showing their previews. Note that you do not get the whole song for free; you got to pay for the song. You can also view the listed song on YouTube, if it is available. In many of the cases it is! Songs in a year are listed in a random order, like a radio shuffle. Tap through the years, and songs within that to reach the specific.
One thing you won't like about the app is that it's flooded with ads. After every 2 songs it'll be showing you some bing related marketing crap, which becomes seriously annoying at times. This app is only good if you're really looking for some forgotten good oldies. Top 100s by year was developed by Bing as a marketing solution only, but it works out decently well for the music lovers. In other case, Top 100s might be just well appreciated by grannies.
