Celebrity Deaths

RIPIt is NOT a good time to be rich and famous in America. The Grim Reaper has seen it fit to take the lives of three celebrities in the past few days.

One has to wonder...

has his bloodlust been sated?Or will more celebrity deaths follow in the coming days and weeks? The first to go was Ed McMahon, the world's most famous second banana.

He kicked the bucket on Tuesday, at the ripe old age of 86.

Reaching fame as Johhny Carson's announcer on The Tonight Show, McMahon also served as a fighter pilot in World War II and the Korean War.The second celeb to punch-out for good? Farrah Fawcett, actress and 70's sex-symbol.

Fawcett had been battling anal cancer intermittently for over three years.

She used her fame to bring more attention to her unfortunate situation, appearing in the documenting her struggle in the television special Farrah's Story. So, no real surprises there.

McMahon was positively ancient, and Ryan O'Neal warned recently that Farrah was in a serious state of decline. But here's the real shocker:The third and (possibly) final fatality- and this is breaking news right now - is Michael Jackson.

That's right, the King of Pop is well on his way to becoming a worm buffet. The apparent culprit is cardiac arrest, a malady Jackson is rumored to have suffered in the past.Jackson was admitted to the UCLA Medical Center just a few short hours ago.

He apparently collapsed in his rented West Los Angeles home and was rushed to the hospital, where he fell into a coma.Expect the media circus to go nuts over this one.

I'm predicting a global fallout similar to that experienced after the 1997 death of Princess Diana.Hopefully, the reaper ain't in the market for any more fresh corpses.

Though just in case he's not done yet- may I suggest Dane Cook? There are now only 1274 days left until the End of the World.
