A man robbed an Orlando Walgreens pharmacy of several prescription drugs this morning, police said.

Orlando Police Department investigators are reviewing the pharmacy's surveillance video for more clues to help them identify the robber.

Police spokeswoman Sgt.

Barbara Jones said that sometime around 9:50 a.m., a man walked into the Walgreens drugstore at 2814 Curry Ford Road.

"The suspect handed over a note, implying that he had a weapon," Jones said.

The suspect took some undisclosed controlled substances from the pharmacy and fled in a black sports utility vehicle, the police report shows.

Robbers have struck this Walgreens in the past.

In May 2008, A few days a man tried to pass off a fake prescription for a pain reliever.

He was denied the medication but stole a pair of shorts, a toothbrush and sunglasses before an employee stopped him at the door.,0,3035445.story
