With the event featuring more than 50 food vendors, be sure to try out the various offerings of sausages, brats, and, of course, hot dogs, after saving a few bucks by purchasing your tickets at Dominicks.�Here's a preview of some of the drool-worthy meats available at this year's event:��What's on the menu�Vienna Beef/Gold Coast Dogs (Booth 27)Hot dogs: plain or Chicago-style.Fire dog: Introduced at the Taste of Chicago in 2007, this dog comes packed with heat due to a combo of zesty seasonings and cayenne peppers.

The dog itself is a skinless sausage.Polish sausage: Smoked over hardwood hickory, this sausage is made from domestic beef and a variety of spices.Taste portion: 1/2 a hot dog.Blue Bayou (Booth 14)Gator sausage: Not normally offered at this New Orleans-style bar and grill on the Northside, this sausage, which comes on a stick, takes adding new meats to sausages to a whole new level.Buona (Booth 25)Beef and sausage combo sandwich: Why eat only one kind of meat, when you can get two in the same bun?Italian sausage sandwich: Available as a full-order or as a "taste" portion.Kasia's Deli (Booth 47)Polish sausage sandwich grilled and served with sauteed onions: Famous for it's pierogi, this delicatessen specializes in authentic Polish cuisine, which promises to make this Polish sausage a delightful treat.Polka Sausage and Deli (Booth 13)Bratwurst sandwich with kraut: This Southside deli makes all of their homemade sausages and brats in a factory behind the store, and these menu items are no exception.Polish sausage sandwich�with kraut: Available as a full-order or as a "taste" portion.Ricobene's (Booth 4)Beef and sausage combo sandwich: Known for its breaded steak sandwiches, Ricobene's also offers plenty of Italian sandwiches.
