They will have to max out their culinary skills if they want to survive the heat of this kitchen.Meet the chefs Jim - Jim is a 34-year-old sous chef in Nashua, N.H.

Like some of the other 'Hell's Kitchen' season six chefs, Jim used to work an office job.

He left that years ago, though and has been working in fine dining restaurants for the last 15 years.Amanda - Amanda is a 27-year-old sous chef from Vancouver, Wash.

She currently resides in New York where she has been working in a kitchen for three years.

In high school Amanda earned the nickname Rodman for being so competitive.Andy - Andy is a 39-year-old executive chef from Seattle, Wash.

Andy currently works in Boston and prides himself on being a BBQ champion and trying his best to cook with seasonally and locally grown items.Tek - Tek is 27 years old and currently works as a line cook in New York.

She originally worked in the technology industry, but after getting a job working as a dishwasher and prep cook in a kitchen she left Tek the computer guru for Tek the kitchen guru.Tony - Tony is a 30-year-old culinary store manager in Chicago.

He learned true Italian cooking while studying abroad in Florence, Italy and uses that knowledge every day when helping his customers pick out the perfect instruments for their kitchen.Ariel - Ariel is from Santa Cruz, Calif., but the 27-year-old sous chef currently cooks in Los Angeles.

She attended Le Cordon Bleu Schools of North America, but she attributes her diverse cooking taste and skills to having traveled all over the world when she was younger.Louie - Louie is a 45-year-old diner owner in Fitchburg, Mass.

Louie has been working in a kitchen for 30 years, first with his grandfather then with his father.Lovely - Lovely is 23 years old and currently resides in Chicago.

She has been working in a kitchen for five years and is all about eating healthy, a quality that comes in handy as an executive chef of a children's camp.Sabrina - Sabrina is a 34-year-old restaurant manager in Phoenix.

Sabrina loves southern cooking, and the show's official website says she has "extensive experience cooking and managing kitchens."Joseph - Joseph is a 27-year-old sous chef from Massapequa, N.Y.

He has been working in a kitchen for eight years and served his country as a Food Service Specialist/Corporal.Suzanne - Suzanne is a 24-year-old sous chef in Las Vegas.

She grew up in a big family in Milwaukee, W.I., went to a local technical school in Milwaukee and believes she is very capable in the kitchen.Dave - Dave is a 32-year-old executive chef in San Diego.

Dave has spent 10 years in the kitchen and loves to take risks with his meals.

One of his biggest non-kitchen accomplishments is traveling 2,200 miles across the Appalachian Trail.Kevin - Kevin works as an executive chef in Middleton, Conn.

He is 35-years-old and has been working in kitchens from Colorado to Pennsylvania for 13 years.

Kevin is also a teaching chef, teaching classes for locals and college interns in his area.Tennille - Tennille is a 28-year-old executive chef in Fairfax, Va.

She graduated from Johnson and Wales and has been working in the kitchen for 10 years.

Recently, Tennille lost over 100 pounds after having gastric bypass surgery.Van - Van is a fish cook in Dallas.

He is 26-years-old and graduated at the top of his culinary class.

He currently works in one of Dallas' best restaurants and loves to volunteer and be with his family.Melinda - Melinda is a 38-year-old private chef in Philadelphia.

Melinda used to live a corporate life but gave it all up in 2003 to go to culinary school and eventually land a job as a private chef on the sea.The two-hour season premiere of 'Hell's Kitchen' airs at 8 p.m.
