Are You Invisible Online?
It's true that your IP address is no secret. It's a basic part of internet communication protocols to send your IP address whenever you connect to another site, request a web page, chat, play an online game, etc. Without your IP address, the computer on the other end wouldn't know where to send the reply

Bypass School and Work firewalls and access blocked websites. Normally you'd have a legit website that was blocked by over-zealous system administrators. Use S4L to get to to those websites with ease and privacy.

Anonymous:
It is wrong to identify anonymous web browsing as the only area of cyber crime. On the contrary, revealed identities, or revealed IPs (to be more specific), have led to identity thefts and have in a way helped in burgeoning cyber crime. Moreover, whistle blowers and advocates of free speech can benefit from anonymity. Anonymity merely guarantees a person's right to privacy on the Internet. It is unfair to charge anonymity with moral and legal allegations

Your Right to Anonymity:
The right to anonymity of an individual is secured by constitutional clauses and universal declarations. Every person has the right to be safeguarded against unlicensed and unnecessary interference of the government in his/her affairs, documents and belongings that are personal and private in nature.

This right is protected by the United States Bill of Rights. As per Article 12 of the Universal Declaration of Human rights adopted and proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations, "No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks."

The right to anonymity includes right to online anonymity too. This right is guarded by proxy scripts that conceal a surfer's IP and keep his/her identity anonymous .

What's the difference between a personal firewall and a web-proxy server?
A personal firewall is a software that came with your operating system or downloaded and installed to protect your computer from unauthorized intrustion but it does not guarantee you protection, data-encryption, or even location anonymity.
A web-proxy is a dedicated service with live admins to ensure location anonymity, data encryption, and data security.

Face it; this is the information age and your personal information will eventually end up on the internet regardless if you like it or not, but it is not too late to do something about it. Privacy is a huge contraversial subject throughout the world. Everyone wants to be in everyone elses business except their own. If you watch too much TV you can see MTV's The real world and other reality shows.

If you don't have privacy then you don't have freedom at all. No one cares about YOUR privacy except yourself. Anyone will do what they can to get into YOUR business. Why is it ok for the government's information to be confidential and private when your personal information is being sold in BULK ,by large data-mining companies such as Axciom, for a profit? Your personal information is money in someone's pocket whether you give consent or not.

IF there are copyright laws for music artists and their songs, movie actor/actresses and their movies shouldn't there be a copyright law for YOUR personal information? Shouldn't YOU collect royalties for your information being sold? I think it's only fair and logical. You should do something about it one way or the other. You should have rights to PROTECTING and SECURING your own personal information from future abuses by others and by protecting it first-hand online.

Why? Lets list the reasons why you should protect, secure, and encrypt your information online whenever you access the web: Identity theft, profiteering, stalkers, illegal background checks, racial profiles, protect your true location from rapists and murderers, protect your children from online predators, protect YOURSELF from online predators, Phishing websites who trick you into entering your information in order to gain access to your financial funds, and etc.. I can go on and on about online privacy but you know as well as I do (personally) why you need to use a web-proxy to access the internet everyday.
