and and decided he was better off going home than waiting for the authorities to sort out the mess he made after he allegedly lost control of his ride? His lawyer Brian Roark said Kindle was "likely" text messaging when the accident happened.

What was he texting? The Dead Sea Scrolls? This wasn't a fire hydrant on the side of the road or a mailbox.

It was an apartment.

Forgive me for the LOL but…The part that got my attention was Kindle deciding he was better off getting the heck out of there instead of calling the cops to do their jobs.

I hate to bring this up but Kindle's arrest for drunken driving a couple of years ago came to mind because his actions — leaving the scene without calling police — can't help but arouse suspicion.

With that said, I'm not accusing him of doing anything illegal.Give Kindle credit for accepting responsibility for the bill on the damage.

That was the right thing to do.

What doesn't help is Kindle once again putting himself under the microscope for something that happened off the field.

It's the kind of attention he should be avoiding at all costs.

These little incidents add up over time.

Hopefully this was merely a blip on Kindle's radar and not the beginning of a bad trend in his promising football career.Permalink | Comments (0) | Post your commentCommentsClick here to report comment abuse.Commenting is open from 8 a.m.
