Secret To Doing Well On The Sat Or Act

Hi Parents of Juniors / Rising Seniors,

We wanted to let you know about a few SAT and ACT video courses that our students have been receiving a lot of success with. As you know, the SAT's getting harder and a lot of students are opting to also take the ACT before applying to college. It's definitely becoming tougher to get into the top colleges. A lot of students are even finding it difficult to get into schools that used to be less challenging to gain acceptance to in the past. Just ask this year's graduating class of seniors and even our college counselors who have been working to help as many students as they can get into at least one of their top three colleges.

It's really getting tougher. And a student's SAT or ACT scores can of course make a huge difference. Prep classes can be great and a private tutor of course will certainly help a student maximize his or her scores, but students need to work a lot on their own as well, practicing, practicing, and practicing some more.

We've noticed time and time again that the SAT Critical Reading and the SAT Math sections usually give students the most difficulty and that students really need to practice writing a well-organized and well-supported essay in 25 minutes, which is required on the SAT Writing section. We've also noticed that many students seem to think the ACT more closely resembles the types of tests they take at school than does the SAT. However, finishing each of the four sections of the ACT in the allotted time is really hard. Additionally, in our experience, the science section of the ACT seems to be giving students the most difficulty when taking this test.

We've seen great results with this video course, ePrep. It gives students a year-long subscription to any of their SAT, ACT, or even SAT subject tests (Math I or II) that they purchase. And it's the most affordable program we've seen, working out to about $6/month at the lowest to about $48/month at the highest, depending on which program is purchased. These are the discount prices if you purchase them here:

The retail prices are much higher.

Here's what you get with any of their courses:

1. Full-length practice tests that can be taken whenever and wherever it's convenient for the student—day or night, at home or on the road.

2. Hundreds of videos with teaching experts actually demonstrating how to solve practice problems.

3. ePrep Analytics™—ePrep's adaptive diagnostic tool—does more than grade practice tests. As students work through the course, it continually analyzes their potential, directs their efforts, and tracks their progress.

4. Prep WordSmith™: an interactive vocabulary builder that actually makes learning words easy and fun. It contains commonly tested SAT words.

ePrep is also endorsed by Fred Hargadon, former Dean of Admissions at Swarthmore College, Stanford University, and Princeton University and also by a former member of the admissions committee for Princeton University, Don Betterton.

In working with many students to help them increase their scores on the SAT and ACT, we've seen ePrep really help them. The practice tests, tutorials, word builder, etc. also help them feel less nervous and fearful and much more confident on test day.

If you would like to watch the ePrep video tour and receive a free 7-day trial, feel free to visit and then click on Guaranteed Results.

Also, if you sign up for our free newsletter at, you'll get free proven SAT Study Tips that really work to boost your scores and a coupon for an additional 5% off any ePrep course you may want to purchase.

We wish all of you juniors / rising seniors the best in acing the upcoming SAT and ACT and also during the college admissions process!
