SEC Media Days 2009 Kicks OffPosted: SEC Football Media Days 2009 kicked off earlier today at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover.� Again this year, the SEC issued a record number of credentials to television, newspaper, radio, internet media and representatives from various bowl games.� In his opening remarks, SEC Commissioner Mike Slive said:"Just as this happened last year, you are once again part of the largest group ever to attend this kickoff event.

There are nearly one thousand of you in attendance, including media, Bowl representatives, corporate sponsors, and representatives of CBS, ESPN, FOX and Comcast.

In addition, there are 28 radio stations broadcasting live downstairs on radio row.

There is no other Media Day like this one in all of college sports.
