Ask Not, a documentary on the military's anti-gay Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy, will air tonight at 10 p.m.

on PBS (SCETV).

Tonight's episode of Fresh Air on National Public Radio will also focus on Don't Ask, Don't Tell and can be found at 7 p.m.

on 89.9 locally.

Both the documentary and the show include conversations with Alex Nicholson, an Army translator forced out of the Army under Don't Ask.

After spending a few years in Columbia, Nicholson has moved to Washington, D.C., with his partner, fellow Army veteran Jarrod Chlapowski.

The two, who visited Charleston last month to screen the film, have formed Servicemembers United, an advocacy group of gay and straight current and former military personnel who will be actively campaigning for the repeal of Don't Ask.

The Chart at 1078 East Montague in North Charleston will be hosting a viewing party for Ask Not from 8:30-11 p.m.

tonight.

All proceeds will go to support the work of Servicemembers United.
