Is your income really recession proof?
What if you got sick and had to be out of work for 6 months and the market dropped 1000 points like it did a while ago. How would that affect you? Would you have enough in reserves to sustain yourself? Will your 401K stand up to another stock market drop? Would you have enough coming in to pay your bills and not have to max out your credit cards? Will the bill collectors stop calling if you lose your income?
