- A 23-year-old New Brunswick man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for a string of bank robberies that culminated in the death of an FBI agent.Efrain Lynn was convicted in December of being part of a group that robbed banks in central New Jersey in the spring of 2007.

At sentencing Thursday, he also was ordered to pay $80,000 in restitution.Lynn wasn't present at the PNC Bank in Hunterdon County when the three other suspects were caught, but he was arrested the same day.During the confrontation outside the bank, FBI Special Agent Barry Lee Bush was accidentally shot and killed by another agent.Two of Lynn's co-defendants previously received sentences of 85 and 117 years, respectively.

A fourth man is to be sentenced next month.
