Serious Sam: The Second Encounterbox art recentlytook the roleof a middle man forCroteam's CEO Roman Ribaric.

Over there, they are currently questioningtheir readerswhether or not the newly announced 'Serious Sam HD', a remake of the originalSerious Sam titlein the Serious Engine 3code, is something that would be desired.

Which readers are they targeting? Quite simply, anybody who accesses the Playstation Network throughthe Playstation 3 shouldleave comments. This is a rather direct way for people topush forsoftware they likewithout creatingunderwhelming online petitions that end up deflating into disappointment. From G4TV's little chat, Mr.

Ribaric has been quoted saying that "However, we keep hearing over and over from publishers, investors, and marketing, and other suits that players from one console, in this case the PSN, wouldn't want to get it later, let's say eight months and seven days after, if it's released sooner on the other console, here that would be XBLA..." Sometimes it is better to be late than never.

If you feel a strongly for this title, do not hesitate to let your voice be heard. If you still have no idea what the Serious Sam franchiseis about,Serious Sam was released in 2001 as an over the top first person shooter for the PC.

The player faces waves and waves of a ridiculous amount ofenemies in atraditional Quake, Duke Nukem, or Doom style gameplay.

The game later received numerous awards, including Game of the Year.

The newly announced Serious Sam HD will utilize the new Serious Engine 3, as shown here.
