The OK Magazine Michael Jackson cover picture has stirred controversy.

See video, photos and find out about the OK Magazine Michael Jackson death picture that has caused an uproar.

While there are a number of magazine who have published or will soon publish special tribute issues or merely feature the King of Pop on their cover in tribute, the OK Magazine Michael Jackson cover photo stands apart in that the magazine has published what is allegedly the final photo of the music legend en route to the hospital; dying or perhaps even dead.

The OK Magazine Michael Jackson cover picture can be seen here.

It is very disturbing so be forewarned.

It can also be seen in the video below.

According to MediaWeek.com a "knowledgeable source" says that the OK Magazine parent company in Great Britain, Northern & Shell paid roughly what converts to $500,000 in U.S.

dollars for exclusive magazine rights to the photo in both the U.S.

and U.K.

Thus the cover is being used on both the U.S.

and U.K.

versions of OK Magazine.

MediaWeek.com also quotes Sarah Ivens, who is the OK! editorial director, who says she thought the OK Magazine Michael Jackson cover photo would differentiate the magazine's cover from the other covers which are more traditional tribune covers.

“It’s a photo that captures the surprise and the upset and the moment of this breaking news story,” Ivens said.

“I hope the cover will provoke readers.

It celebrated the man, but it also does expose that he was an eccentric character who lived a very controversial life.” While the magazine had attempted to defend its use of the controversial Michael Jackson death picture, there is reportedly a backlash already.

The New York Post quotes a source who claims there is a backlash in particular among media buyers.

Quoting the source:"Media buyers have canceled upcoming meetings to discuss rates.

It's a disgrace.

They've sunk to a new low." While the magazine has already hit the newsstands, the controversy has begun and will likely not end soon.
