DUBAI, June 30 (Reuters) - Yemen's transport minister said the Yemenia aircraft that crashed off the Comoros on Tuesday underwent a thorough inspection in May under Airbus supervision.

"It was a comprehensive inspection carried out in Yemen ...

with experts from Airbus," Khaled Ibrahim al-Wazeer told Reuters by telephone from the Yemeni capital Sanaa.

"It was in line with international standards." A 5-year-old was the only passenger rescued so far from the crash of the Airbus 310-300, which was carrying 153 people in a flight from Sanaa to Moroni, the capital of the Comoros.

Yemen's focus was on finding more survivors, the minister said, adding the search for the black box had not yet been launched.
