"It's up to him whether he thinks the people support him in spite of this," said Giuliani.

"Remember, Bill Clinton had very much the same situation, except it extended for six months I think, the whole denial of Monica Lewinsky, the attacks on Monica Lewinsky, then it turned out to be true.

Bill Clinton was able to overcome that."Sanford's mistress in Argentina says she won't discuss her relationship with the governor.
