Four developers have submitted additional details on plans to build four slot machine parlors in Maryland.

Robert Howells, the procurement officer for the Maryland Lottery Agency, said some of the new details are "quite voluminous with architectural renderings and floor plans." Howells said state officials have not yet finished a detailed review of the plans, which have not been made public.

But he says it looks like all four applicants are in compliance with state regulations.

Initial bids submitted in February were a disappointment to state officials hoping to generate additional revenue.

Of a possible 15,000 slot machines at five locations, developers only bid on 6,500 machines at four spots, including Anne Arundel, Cecil and Worcester counties and Baltimore city.
