Listed at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, the left wing had 30 points and 96 penalty minutes in 65 games in his second season with Sudbury of the Ontario Hockey League.Sudbury is coached by Mike Foligno, who played 10 seasons with Buffalo and ranks eighth on the franchise scoring list.

Marcus' older brother, Nick Foligno, played his rookie season with Ottawa last year.The Sabres opened the second day of the draft by selecting 6-foot-4 defenseman Brayden McNabb, who played for Kootenay of the Western Hockey League.
