Sorry DT - I usually agree with most of what you say, but can't in this instance.

I think it is pretty poor when members of the government feel inclined to comment on such fatuous events are the replacement of one tv show person with another.

Granted, Harridan Harman wants to be seen as in touch with the plebs, exactly as her boss GB does, but this is not what we pay ministers for.

Maybe the BBC does have a case to answer, but honestly, aren't there more important issues (like convincing GB to legitimise his premiership by holding an election) than commenting in this way.
