The Internet is an amazing resource to maintain your "Deal Diva" or " Deal Dude" status.Freebie Web sitesSimply Google the word "freebie" and thousands of sites will appear allowing you to sign up for everything from a free diaper sample to a DVD on hair restoration.

Some of my favorite sites are Freebies4mom.com, Thunderflap.com and Mysavings.com.Coupon CodesProbably one of my favorite inventions next to my DVR is coupon codes.

Pledge never ever to buy anything online before you search for a coupon code.

Coupon codes are listed on several sites and offer to save you shipping or even a percentage off your final price.

Some work, others don't, but I often find more working codes than not.

Simply enter in the name of the store or product to search codes to save money.

It is easy! Some of the best Web sites for coupon codes are gottadeal.com, slickdeals.com and Retailmeknot.com.Other Great Web sitesUPromise.com: This great program rewards you for shopping online or using connected store loyalty cards or credit cards with money toward a child's education.

It will allow you to register all your store loyalty cards and credit cards (securely) and then pick a beneficiary.

This is good for any type of schooling â€" you can donate your earnings to a grandchild or friend.

It is free and secure and will make you feel a little bit better about spending money (a little bit better…).

U Promise also allows you to download a coupon bar that lets Promise know every time you go onto a sponsoring Web site to buy something.

For example, if you buy something on Amazon.com, you receive a 2 percent credit to your U Promise account.

Gas Buddy.com: You need a gas buddy! This Web site allows you to buy gas at the nearest and cheapest location possible.

The site is updated every few hours with the cheapest gas in locations all across the country.

You can use the map feature and enter your address or you can search by ZIP code.

You can even have the cheapest prices sent to your mobile phone.CharlotteHalfPrice.com: Need a gift certificate? Then CharlotteHalfPrice.com should be your first stop.

This local Web site offers a variety of gift certificates to local hair salons, retail shops, and restaurants for 50 percent off.

Unlike restaurants.com, the gift certificates are not electronic.

They will be mailed to you within 3 to 5 days via the U.S.

mail.

They do this to make sure that each certificate issued is authentic and will be accepted by local partners with no hassle to the consumer.

Priority Mail is available for an additional $5.50 to your shipping and handling.

The site does not offer refunds, and the deals expire after 6 months from the date of issue.

There are a limited number of business who currently participate but the list does change from time to time so keep checking back for a great deal.Pricespider.com: You want to buy your teenager the newest iPod, but not sure if you're getting a good deal? Check out Pricespider, self-dubbed the "Future of the Search Engine." This site allows users to create free accounts and create customized lists of items you are in the market to buy.

The site finds the cheapest prices and provides product reviews.
