Easyjet Willing To Sell Flights On Facebook
Posting ads for 7 years
easyJet currently offers a "Holiday Planner” Facebook app that helps its users to plan their trips with their friends through Facebook and email. Users can coordinate destinations and dates, propose a range of budget options and then invite friends along for the trip.
The problem was that to make the final transaction, user had to visit their website. Now the company, EasyJet is considering its options to remove that hurdle by allowing users to directly purchase the tickets, within that app.
This move would be in favor of both the companies, as an ordinary user who would be viewing the Vacation pictures of their friend on facebook will see an ad on the right side about planning and making that same trip. The influence of that ad would be much higher than it could be on any other place.
facebook would benefit from it too, as they'll be charging the company 30% of their total facebook credits revenue. The services offered by the EasyJet company on facebook would be same as on their website.
